Hi Y’all! We hope for our American friends that you are recovering from stuffing your face yesterday. For our international friends, we are now ready to full on celebrate Christmas with you! Make sure you are subscribed to our YouTube channel because we are going to be doing weekly vlogmas videos starting next Friday!
We thought we would start off our Christmas posts with something simple. I always want to start listening to Christmas music in July, but Ash puts a stop to that real quickly. When November 1st arrived, I was given the all clear to start listening and I have been jamming ever since. Today I thought I would share with y’all my favorite Christmas albums to listen to. Some oldies, some newbies, but all great!
Pentatonix is great all around. I just love them. Fun fact, our brother used to sing with Scott in some competitions, so we knew him before his Pentatonix days! They did just release a 2nd Christmas album, but the first one is still my favorite. Their cover of Mary Did You Know is the best I have ever heard. I also love their original song, That’s Christmas To Me.
This is by far Ashley’s favorite Christmas album. It brings us back to our childhood every time we bring it out. Don’t worry, we jammed out our entire Thanksgiving road trip. It wouldn’t be Christmas without singing and dancing to Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!
Straight No Chaser has a multitude of Christmas albums, but for some reason this is my favorite. I love Text Me Merry Christmas (featuring Kristen Bell) and Home by Christmas Day. This album is more contemporary. If you like more traditional Christmas songs check out their other Christmas Albums. I do have to admit though, their version of 12 Days of Christmas is my all time favorite!
Is there anything more Christmassy than Michael Buble’s Christmas album!? The answer is no, there is not! This album came out my freshman year in college, and my friends and I were desperate to go to the Rockafellar Tree Lighting to see him perform. In the end we didn’t see him, but we had no shortage of dancing and singing to Cold December Night!
This album is new to my repertoire, but it is just as great. If you are a fan of Fixer Upper you have heard JohnnySwim. This husband/wife duo wrote and perform the theme song for the show. They just had an album come out which is fantastic, but I love their small Christmas album. Their voices blend together like butter. It is truly something special. I’ll Be Home For Christmas is my favorite!
What are your favorite Christmas albums!? We would love to add them to our playlist! Let us know in the comments below!
