Hey Y’all!
So, if you follow us on Instagram you will know that a couple of weeks ago we posted some pictures of our trip to Paris. We let you in on the secret that those pictures had actually been taken with our iPhone 7! Some of you couldn’t believe it, and had so many questions. Trust me, I used to feel the same way. I was a major skeptic and always said you have to have a big expensive camera to take quality photos. Those cameras are great, but you truly can take top quality photos with the camera you most likely already have.
In high school and college Ashley took some basic photography classes, but I have never been introduced to any of those skills. I have honestly just been winging it, so I thought it was time to learn some skills and put my knowledge to the test. That’s why we have decided to partner with CreativeLive and Activate by Bloglovin to not only improve our skills, but to help you level up your photography skills by taking one of CreativeLive’s photography courses. Creative Live is a great source for online education. They offer courses taught by the world’s most inspiring instructors in creative topics, including photography, craft, design and more!
I will be taking Julia Kelleher’s class, Using Your Apple® iPhone® 7/7 Plus for Great Photos. I encourage you to take the class with me so we can all step up our photography game. To make this offer even more enticing to you, CreativeLive are so awesome that they are giving y’all 20% off your purchase of any photography class. Just use the code ISHARE20 at checkout. This offer expires 5/31/2017.
I can’t wait to get started on this class and learn how to improve my skills. There is so much to learn, especially mastering the new portrait mode. One thing I am really looking forward to learning is how to take great photos in low light. In our apartment we unfortunately do not have much natural light, and the artificial light we have is very yellow. It makes it hard to take pictures at home. I’ve included a couple photos I have taken recently. I can’t wait to see how my photos improve over the next few weeks.
We are so excited for this opportunity, and truly want y’all to participate with us. If you use our code and take the class with us, send us your photos that you have used your new skills on and you will get the chance for it to be posted on our Instagram to over 7,000 followers. Use the hashtags #CreativeLive and #ATBPhotos to be considered.
Have Fun!!
