My Two Step Routine
About a month ago I cut 10 inches of my hair off, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I felt super weighed down, and I truly just needed a change. I was really worried about styling it though because I haven’t had hair this short since I was 12!!
I’ve come up with the easiest two step hair routine to get those messy curls with some texture. It’s exactly the look I was going for, so I was so happy that I got it right on the first try.

I only use two products on my hair. My T3 curling wand, and Living Proof Dry Volume Blast Spray. I use the 1.25 inch tapered wand. I start by splitting my hair in two sections (half up half down) and I alternate curling each section towards and away from my face. I make sure that the pieces right by my face are curled outwards. By alternating you create more volume and texture as well as it looking a little messier.
After curling everything I run my fingers through to really break up the curls, and then spray my entire head, but focusing on the ends, with the Living Proof spray. I use my hands to give it a little bit of volume, but that’s it! Super simple and easy. It only takes me about 20 minutes, compared to the 45 it used to take me!

I’m all about minimizing my routine, so the short hair has been great! How do y’all like to style your hair!? Let’s chat in the comments!
