Summer to me means blueberry cobbler. The hardest part of this recipe is waiting for it to cook in the oven. With just 5 ingredients, and just as many steps, this is sure to become one of your summer dessert staples.
3 cups of blueberries
Box of yellow cake mix
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1 lemon
1. Wash the blueberries and dump them in a bowl.
2. Zest the lemon onto the blueberries and then squeeze the juice over them.
3. Cover the blueberries in the sugar and stir to coat.
4. In another bowl dump in the cake mix.
5. Melt the butter in the microwave and then pour onto the cake mix. Use a whisk to combine. You want a crumbly mixture.
6. Pour the blueberries into a buttered oven safe dish then cover with the cake mixture.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
8. When it comes out of the oven let it sit for about 5 minutes, then serve warm with an optional scoop of vanilla ice cream.
