Let’s be honest. Half the fun of traveling these days is coming up with the ultimate photo to post on Instagram. London in particular is a city full of history, culture, and charm. And while it’s definitely important to capture those iconic tourist photos, especially for first time visitors, half of the fun is discovering those surprising locations you find when you accidentally turn down the wrong street. We’re taking all of the guesswork out of it though, and sharing with you the 7 most Instagramable spots in London!
Notting Hill
I could take endless amounts of photos in Notting Hill. It’s full of London charm and SO many colorful walls! The “Made You Look” wall is located on the well known Portobello Road. Turn down any of the side streets and you’ll encounter rows of brightly colored townhouses. Pick your favorite color and snap away! You can see more from Notting Hill here.
Dalloway Terrace
We grabbed brunch at Dalloway Terrace and were snapping photos left and right. We loved the natural aesthetic and all of the little details everywhere you looked.
sketch
We discovered sketch through Instagram, and it was high on our list of places to visit. The whole restaurant was practically made for Instagram! We laughed every time we went to the bathroom at the amount of people taking photos in there, so you will definitely not be alone in trying to grab that perfect photo.
Milk Train
What is more Instagramable than an ice cream cone surrounded by cotton candy?! And after you get your photo you get to eat the subject! 🙂
Peggy Porschen
This might beat sketch for the most Instagramable spot in London. It is a pink lovers dream! We were lucky to snag a table outside and watched a steady stream of people stop for photos outside this yummy bakery.
Liberty
Liberty is a department store in London that displays and sells fresh flowers out front. The display is ever changing depending on the season, but it is always beautiful!
Photo Booth & Buckingham Palace Soldiers
You can’t leave London without a few cheesy tourist photos. Jump in that phone booth or take a selfie with one of the Queen’s guards.
