Rose Gold Hair Tint

Pink Hair Don’t Care

Rose Gold Hair Tint

You may have seen on Instagram that I’ve been testing this fun temporary rose gold hair tint. It’s formulated for blonde hair, or if you have any lightened pieces. You apply to wet hair in the shower. It’s actually a pretty quick and easy process. You start by shampooing your hair. From there, you can apply the rose gold tint to your wet and freshly shampooed hair, or you can towel dry and apply. Basically, the drier your hair the more intense the pink. If you want a more subtle pink, then you’ll want your hair pretty wet. I’ve used this product a few times now, so I have some tips and tricks I’ve discovered along the way I wanted to share.

I prefer a more subtle color, so I applied in the shower directly after shampooing. I squeezed the excess water out of my hair, combed through it, and then sectioned the top half of my hair off and threw it in a clip. The rose gold hair tint is an aerosol spray, so I sprayed it through the bottom section of my hair, paying special attention to my lightened ends. After the bottom half was fully saturated, I repeated the process with the top section of hair. You let the rose gold hair tint sit for 2 minutes, and then rinse it out and follow with conditioner. This is probably obvious, but do not shampoo again or you’ll wash it out!

Since the rose gold hair tint is an aerosol spray, it does get on some things. We have white subway tile in our shower, which turned pink along with my shoulders. The tile wiped clean immediately and my shoulders rinsed right off when I rinsed the tint out of my hair. I also didn’t find that the tint transferred to my towel at all when I towel dried my hair when I got out of the shower.

The rose gold hair tint itself washes out in 1-2 shampoos, making it perfect if you want pink hair for an event or just the weekend, but you want your hair back to normal by Monday for work. Would you give it a try?
