My Summer Bucket List | NYC

Summertime In The City

My Summer Bucket List | NYC

Our Summer is pretty full of trips and heading back home to Dallas a few times, but that isn’t going to stop me from taking advantage of all of the fun things NYC has to offer in the spring and summer. There is always so much going on, but sometimes it’s just too hot to go outside but I’m going to change that up this year. No more excuses, I’m writing this out for accountability and also as some tips for y’all if you are planning a trip here this summer.

First up is Smorgasburg. We usually go several times a year but we haven’t made it out there yet this year. We’ve been so busy, and things keep getting scheduled like my eye surgery. The plan is to head out there this weekend if I’m feeling up to it. Smorgasburg is a foodie lovers dream, and we just love seeing the new vendors that are there every year.

I’ve always wanted to do the NBC Studio Tour. I even included it on my 52 things to do in NYC post. This is kind of cheating because we do actually have tickets to go do this when we have some family come to visit, but it is on my summer bucket list. It’s a win win.

I also want to head to an outdoor movie. I used to go to these back when I was in college, but I haven’t been to one since. There are several in parks all around the city, but Bryant Park is usually the best. It’s such a fun thing, and you get to meet people from all over the city.

Brunch brunch brunch. You guys know we LOVE brunch, but brunch during the summer is the best. All of the outdoor tables come out, and it’s perfect for people watching in the city. There is just something about eating outside that is so satisfying. I just love it.

Last but not least I want to spend more time in Central Park. I hate that we live so close but don’t take advantage of the park. It’s so beautiful in the summer. Everyone just brings a little picnic and hangs out. There are also so many walking and running trails. I’m going to make it a goal to head over there a couple times a week when we are here.

What’s on your summer bucket list in your city!? Let us know down below!
