What We Did, Saw, and Ate
After having a blast in Brussels, Antwerp, & Brugge we were so excited to fit in a few hours in Ghent. This wasn’t originally in our plan because we didn’t think we had time. We packed all four days so full though so we were able to fit it in. Everyone told us we needed to go to Ghent, and we are so glad that we did. One of the things we loved the most about Belgium was how easy it is to travel from city to city. We are used to taking trains all around Europe, but it was nice that the trains were all less than an hour. We took the quick 20 min train from Brugge to Ghent and were set for a few hours to explore!

We loved that everything was centered around the canals. I love that about some of the cities in Europe. While we were in Belgium I had so many flashbacks to Amsterdam. I want to plan a trip back there more than every now!

They created this as a place for graffiti so that it wouldn’t be all over the city. It was a really long alleyway, and such a fun place to take some pictures.

We had already walked about 5 miles so we headed into a little food market and got some belgian croquettes to snack on! They were absolutely delicious! After our little break we walked around more areas of Ghent before we completely exhausted ourselves and headed back to Brussels!

Very sweet, but equally tasty!
We really hope y’all enjoyed our little tour through Belgium! We had such a blast, and completely fell in love with the country. Don’t forget to watch our vlog down below!
