The Happiest Place On Earth
If you missed part one, you can read that here, and you can read about our day at Universal Studios here. On our third day in Orlando we headed to Magic Kingdom!

Not only were we spending the day at Magic Kingdom, we were also returning at night to attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. It was cute to see the parked decked out for fall! After taking the requisite photos with Cinderella’s castle, we headed off to ride some rides.
[one_half padding=”0 3px 0 0″][/one_half][one_half_last padding=”0 0 0 3px”][/one_half_last]Due to the long day, we decided to take a break in the late afternoon and head back to our hotel for a little rest before returning to the park that night. On our way out we happened to catch a parade and Shelby was excited to see Belle- her favorite Disney princess.

The dinner was a bit pricey, but very delicious, and such a cool setting. They really sprinkled that Disney magic and made it feel that you were really dining in the Beast’s castle. But the best part of the meal was dessert, complete with a (chocolate) Chip cup filled with “grey stuff”! Shelby also got a special birthday plate of extra grey stuff and a birthday card signed by Belle and the Beast and she about died.

Then just outside the castle we ran into Belle and Gaston. Gaston was VERY flirty with Shelbs, ha ha! There is some great footage in part two of our Disney vlog later this week so be sure to watch that below!
We rode the teacups, such a classic Disney ride, and then headed towards the castle to catch the Halloween parade. This was one of the cooler parades I’ve seen! Very well choreographed with some fun surprises. After the parade was the fireworks show, Halloween themed of corse. Nobody does fireworks like Disney! And then came something we were very excited to see- the Hocus Pocus show! It was just all so good!

We had been pretty lucky with crowds and lines up to this point, but this day was CROWDED. Because we had changed plans last minutes, there were not any fast passes available for any of the big rides, so we were faced with lots of long lines and wait times. We did manage to squeeze in a few rides, another round of the most delicious spicy cauliflower tacos from Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, and one last Mickey ice cream before having to head to the airport.
We had such a fun trip to Walt Disney World! Have you ever been? What’s your favorite thing to do there? We already can’t wait to go back! Next time we want to head back over the holidays. I think that would be a really fun time to go!
