We started posting our neighborhood guides all the way back in 2015, and are in the process of updating them this year. We started with updating our Upper East Side guide, and today we are heading to one of our most frequently visited neighborhoods in Manhattan- Soho!
Soho is located south of Houston street (pronounced How-Sten, sorry Texans!) It is a very bustling neighborhood filled with many retail stores, restaurants, and boutique hotels. There is also ever-changing street art making it a great place to take some fun Instagram photos!

Take a walk down Prince St. and Spring St. and you’ll fulfill all of your shopping needs. Some of our favorites are Bloomingdale’s, Uniqlo, Muji, & Other Stories, Saje Natural Wellness, Kendra Scott, Birkenstock, Sezane, Topshop and the Bite Beauty Lip Lab.
After you spend half of your money on new clothing, you can spend the other half on all of the lovely snacks and treats that Soho has to offer. One of our favorites is Momofuku Milk Bar which you can read about here if you missed it. Dean and Deluca, located at Prince and Broadway is an upscale grocery store that has gourmet food and snacks.

Some of our favorite spots for brunch are Jacks Wife Freda, The Butcher’s Daughter, The Egg Shop, Black Seed, and Two Hands. Grab a coffee at Maman or a matcha latte at Cha Cha Matcha. For a sweet treat head to Little Cupcake Bakeshop, or Baked By Melissa.
If you are headed over by West Broadway you can grab a macaroon or a table at Laduree, which we visited in Paris here and here or grab brunch at Sadelle’s.
If you are looking for a great place to stay in Soho we suggest the Soho Grand, the Nomo Soho, The James Hotel, or the Crosby Street Hotel.
