If you liked our post about Smorgasburg, you will love this. I like to think of Gansevoort Market as Smorgasburg’s little sister. Tucked away in the Meatpacking district, Gansevoort Market is a food market, but a little smaller than Smorgasburg and inside. It’s perfect for those end of summer days that are just too hot to be outside. Gansevoort Market is open everyday from 8 AM to 9 PM. Click over to see their vendors.
One of my favorite things about the market is the skylight seating area. It’s a bright and beautiful place to sit and eat your yummy food.
The Bruffin Cafe is my absolute favorite. I’m a big fan of the British, for obvious reasons. The bruffin is a brioche muffin hybrid filled with different ingredients. It is light, flaky, and the perfect meal. Ashley loves the Tacombi tacos.
If you are looking for coffee and a sweet treat check out Champion Coffee and Dana’s Bakery. It always makes me so excited when I find a coffee shop that has almond milk. Dana’s Bakery has some very colorful macaroons in tasty flavors.
Gansevoort Market is the perfect place to tuck in for a quick lunch, or to make an all day adventure trying every food there is to offer. Let us know in the comments below what your favorite part of Gansevoort Market is.
