Five Places We Want To Travel In 2016

Travel

Ashley and I were definitely born with the wanderlust gene. Ever since we were little bitty we have been itching to travel. We each only have 12 states left to visit out of the 50, but we don’t limit ourselves to the U.S. Some of our favorite trips we have ever been on have been abroad. Scotland is one we will never forget. We had so much to tell y’all that we had to split it up into 2 posts. Stateside, our trip to Vermont and Lake George had to be our favorite.

In 2016 we want to travel even more. Some of our favorite blog posts to read are travel related. We have a few trips in the works and we can not wait to tell y’all all about them. Seriously, it’s killing me. I want to shout them all from the rooftops. But for now, we are going to give you a little sneak peek into the 5 places on our 2016 bucket list that we want to travel. Who knows, you could be seeing posts on these spectacular places very soon.

Iceland

Iceland

I set my sights on Iceland whilst scrolling through Pinterest about two years ago. I couldn’t get over the photography and how beautiful it made the country look. Visiting the Blue Lagoon is at the top of my list as well as seeing the natural geysers. The Reykjavik harbor is the perfect spot for a photo op. We can’t forget the northern lights and whale watching. Iceland has so much to offer. One day we will visit.

Seattle

Seattle, Washington

Seattle is a place I have been dying to visit for many years now. I have to admit, mostly because Starbucks originated in Seattle and I would not be a functioning human without Starbucks. Coffee aside, Seattle has many wonderful attractions. Pike Place Market is a definite must see. The space needle tops Seattle’s skyline and even though I am not a fan of heights I will have to suck it up when I visit one day.

Montreal

Montreal, Canada

Montreal is not to far from us here in NYC. It is in French Canada which is great for Ashley and I because we can speak a little French. Number one our list would be to find the perfect poutine. Do you think we can find it? I can picture this trip as one to just get lost and enjoy the beauty of the city.

Boston

Boston, Massachusetts

I have actually been to Boston once, but just for a quick 24 hours. I would love to go back and experience it over a few days. We also couldn’t miss visiting Salem or Harvard University either. We have to continue on our Ivy League sweatshirt collection. And for a more selfish reason, Boston has a Wagamama which is one of my favorite restaurant chains from the UK.

Bora Bora

Bora Bora

I mean, c’mon! Who doesn’t want to visit Bora Bora. Ash and I are not huge beach vacation goers, but every once in awhile we do itch for the salty ocean air. What better place to go then the beautiful clear blue waters of Bora Bora. We would love to see some dolphins and just relax on the beach with a strawberry daiquiri in hand. We are dying to stay at the Four Seasons. Girls can dream right?

What destinations are on your travel bucket list!? Let us know in the comments below. Are there any places you want us to visit and be your guinea pigs? We can make that happen!
