Monday we meet again. Did everyone have a nice weekend? Who else binge-watched Fuller House? What did you think? I actually liked it more than I thought I would. We pulled ourselves off the couch long enough to go to brunch on Saturday and then spent the afternoon running some errands. Yesterday it was 60 degrees in New York (in February!) so we went on a long walk to get out of the house and stretch our legs.
Today, on this bonus day of sorts (happy leap day!) I wanted to share some of the things I’ve been loving this past month.
I’ve been loving my Capri Blue candle (I have the Volcano scent) this month. I keep it lit all day while I’m working to make my office smell like Anthropologie. Having yummy scented candles around are one of the things that make me happy.
Shelby and I recently bought Apple Watches. I’m still getting used to it, but so far I really like it. Do any of you have an Apple Watch? What are the apps I need to download?
Since I did Whole 30 in January, I spent most of February giving in to the cravings I wasn’t allowed to have last month. I guess that’s why I have three food items on my favorite list :). But these items are still all very healthy, all things considered.
Shelby talked about Pressed Juicery last week, but this chocolate almond drink is very yummy and is one of my favorite things I’ve discovered this past month.
Hu Kitchen is a really cool food based restaurant/store here in New York whose motto is “get back to human”. They sell prepared food that you can either sit and eat there or take away for later. They focus on using “real” ingredients, nothing processed. I really really love their chocolate bars. If you’re a fan of dark chocolate, you’ll love these. All of Hu Kitchen’s chocolate is free of refined sugar, gluten, dairy, emulsifiers, stabilizers, soy or GMOs. I love that sweet/salty combo so this salty chocolate flavor (made with just 3 ingredients!) is my favorite, but the almond butter with puffed quinoa is really good too!
I had these Harvest Snaps for the first time this month, and they are such a great snack! They are like cheetos puffs, but made with vegetables. I buy mine at Whole Foods, but they are very popular and sell out very quick. Must mean they are on many other people’s favorites list as well.
What are your February favorites? Any recent discoveries we need to try? Tweet us and let us know.
