How’s everyone doing after Daylight Savings this weekend? It was so hard to wake up this morning. Losing an hour of sleep sucks. To help restore our tired skin, Shelby and I headed to The Face Shop in Koreatown yesterday afternoon and stocked up on all kinds of goodies. Korean skincare products are amazing, and are finally becoming popular in the United States. The Face Shop has so many cool products, and I’m not sure what half of them even do, but it’s just fun to look at all the crazy options. The best part about The Face Shop is they have all different kinds of sheet masks for super cheap. We may or may not have purchased an embarrassingly high amount…..
The staff at the store was very helpful, and gave us lots of free samples which was a nice surprise.
Here is some of our haul:
These two little gems look very intriguing. The instructions have you start with face yoga, whatever that is, and then apparently you use these masks to help shape your face? I haven’t used them yet, but when I do I’ll be sure to do a review on Snapchat (are you following us yet? we’re “ashandshelbs”).
Maybe the best thing we picked up though are these animal face masks. They are so hilarious!!! We tried out a couple of them last night and could not stop laughing.
Remember this foot peel we did last year? They have a foot mask version I’m excited to try.
If you’re local to New York I highly recommend that you swing by on your lunch break one day this week. I have to say the Tiger face mask is lovely. I’m wearing it as I type. If you’re not local, you can shop online here.
Are you into Korean beauty products? What should we try next?
