Now that we are back in NYC and trying to adjust back to reality after vacation, I thought I would let you in on one of my favorite restaurants in New York. Sarabeth’s holds a special place in my heart. This is a place I ate at on one of my very first trips to the city, and a place I ate at every consecutive trip following until I moved here. I was introduced to cheese blintzes, which unfortunately they don’t have on the menu anymore. Nonetheless, I can still taste them very vividly. They do however still have some incredible options, and some of the best coffee you will have.
Sarabeth’s is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch on the weekends. I highly recommend the four flowers mimosa at brunch, or just the four flowers juice if you don’t like bubbly. It’s made with pineapple, banana, orange, and pomegranate juices and it is the tastiest thing you will ever try.
You can never go wrong with the pancakes or fritatta. Oh, and did I mention they serve pumpkin muffins year round!? Yeah that’s right! Now you don’t have to wait for the sweet taste of the pumpkin spice latte on September 1st.
I’ve only been for dinner once, and it was amazing. I just love the breakfast so much I can’t get myself to go at any other time. There are 7 locations in Manhattan, so there is sure to be one close to where you are staying. Our favorite location is Central Park South. There is just something about the ambience at that location that makes me feel like I am a full fledged New Yorker.
If you are not going to make it to the city anytime soon, you can order their cookbooks online here, specialty foods here, and bakery goods here. I have also seen their jams in Target, so keep a look out. If you want to learn a little more about the history and Sarabeth herself, click on over here.
My mouth is watering right now talking about my love for this place. Do you think I could convince Ashley to go again this weekend? She loves it just as much as I do, so I don’t think it will take much persuading.
Have you ever been to Sarabeth’s!? Let us know in the comments below.
