Hey y’all! Happy Monday! Ash and I are currently in Dallas getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. We had a fantastic weekend catching up with our parents. Last night we sat outside and grilled our dinner and then made some smores! I couldn’t ask for anything more during the fall.
Even though we are in Dallas, we wanted to share one of our new favorite London spots that has made its way to New York. Wagamama is an asian noodle bar that was founded in London in 1992. The first time I tried Wagamama in London I was hooked! I’m always so sad anytime I watch any England based YouTuber’s eating there.
Well, I no longer have to be upset because one just opened in NYC in the Flatiron District! I made Ashley go with me opening night, and she was very glad she did. We had such a great time, and it wasn’t too crowded. We had a short line out the door, but they brought us green tea to keep warm. How cute are these little mugs!? Ash and I were obsessed. Just a little tip, their green tea is always free on the menu!
I ordered the chicken katsu curry, and it was just as amazing as I remembered. I have to be honest, this is the only thing I have tried. I just love it so much, and everytime I was in London I felt like I needed to get the same thing, but now that we have one here I can try everything on the menu! I already have my eye on one of their ramen bowls next time we go in.
Ashley ordered tofu pad thai. Now, some of you might not know that Ashley likes to think of herself as a pad thai connoisseur. That is pretty much the only thing she orders from Thai restaurants. She said this might be the best one she has had. It wasn’t as spicy as she would like, but it had such a nice flavor she didn’t care!
For dessert we got the cheescake with a blackberry compote. It was light, fluffy , and the perfect complement to our meal.
Ashley and I keep saying the entire meal that this was the best customer service in a restaurant we have ever had. It truly was, especially being opening night. We already can’t wait to go back again. Have any of y’all ever been to Wagamama!? Let us know in the comments below!
