Last week Ash and I headed over to France for a week! We have both been before, but we were excited to return and visit some new places that we haven’t been to. As soon as we landed we headed down to Bordeaux to spend 24 hours with our brother. Check out our adventures here.

When we got back to Paris we jumped straight into exploring the city of lights. Sacre Couer is one of my favorite places in Paris. You get an amazing view of the city, because it is one of the highest points. Unfortunately it was a little foggy when we went, but if you visit on a sunny day it will be completely worth the stairs you have to climb.

You can’t visit France without ordering a crepe, so of course we got a few nutella filled ones. They didn’t last very long, that’s for sure. The opera house also can’t be missed, even if you are just adorning from the outside.

On our first full day in Paris we had a jam packed day. We saw the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Notre Dame, Laduree, and had a shopping spree at City Pharma. It was a lot of walking, but so worth it. Paris is such a great city to photograph. Everywhere you turn there is a photo opportunity. Also, if yoiu are looking for free things to do in Paris, add Notre Dame to your list. It is free to go inside.

We also went to Disneyland Paris for a day, but we will be doing a separate post on that later this week so stay tuned!

On one of our last days we headed a little outside of the city to the Palace of Versailles. One of my favorite things to do when traveling is to see the Palaces and Castles of Europe. The history is just breathtaking. You can feel it as soon as you walk in. The Hall of Mirrors in this palace are breathtaking. Don’t forget to snap a selfie. 😉

On our last day before we headed to the airport we decided to explore the Musee D’Orsay. There were some beautiful paintings by Monet and Renoir that I was so excited to see. We could have spent so much more time in the museum, but we had to head to the airport so we wouldn’t miss our flight!

Pretty popular city to visit… Nevertheless, the photos are still beautiful!
