While we were in Paris, we had a lovely lunch at Café de Flore which is located in the 6th arrondissement. It is one of the oldest coffeehouses in Paris. It is such a quintessentially French atmosphere with some yummy bites.
I had heard that the hot chocolate was amazing, so of course I had to order it. It was THE BEST bot chocolate I’d ever had. You know it’s legit when you take so long to drink it that it starts to harden up back into solid chocolate, ha ha.
The menu was in English, which was interesting, because the majority of people at the surrounding tables were locals. Always a good sign when dining.
Neither of us were super hungry, so we just ordered a couple of small items. Shelby ordered simple scrambled eggs, and I ordered the French onion soup. Because, well, when in France…. ha ha.
Café de Flore is a great spot nearby The Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay if you’re looking for a bite to eat at a traditional sidewalk cafe.
