Ashley and I were out and about exploring the city a week ago and we came across this little donut shop inside a carwash! Yep, you heard that right! As I stated in my donut roundup, the tiny little donut places are the best. We had to go in, and I am so glad we did.
Underwest Donuts is literally in a carwash, we saw multiple cars through the windows as we were in line. I think we were kind of in shock that this existed in Manhattan. There is also a location right outside of Penn Station, but the carwash location is such a fun experience.
My favorite flavor was the lavender vanilla, but the maple waffle is a close second. They were out of the dark chocolate and the brown butter, so I can’t wait to go back and try those!
I also have to talk about the customer service, because we had the nicest employee. I didn’t catch her name, but it was really refreshing to be served by someone who cared so much about the customer.
I am so excited that we found another donut place to obsess over, but I think I will have to start spending more time at the gym.
