Hey y’all! Happy Monday! We hope you had a fantastic weekend. We spent both days catching up on life and recuperating after our trip. Ash and I have both lived in London before, but we didn’t spend a lot of time eating out. She lived in a dorm, and I had a flat, so we cooked most of the time. One of my main goals of this trip was to eat at a ton of restaurants, and get that experience of London. We loved EVERY place we ate at, so we had to share with you.
Farm Girl Cafe. This was one of our favorite brunch’s we had. Amazing coffee, and even better food. The atmosphere was so much fun as well. Prepare to have a little wait though because it is a fairly small place.
Bill’s. Bill’s is a chain restaurant, but actually one of the places I have eaten before. I loved it so much, so I had to take Ash & our mom. We went for dinner and ordered a pitcher of Pimm’s, and enjoyed our most “American” meal of chicken burgers and Mac & Cheese.
The Ivy Chelsea Garden. I fell in love with this place. It reminded us a lot of Sarabeth’s here in the city. The atmosphere was awesome. I wished we could have sat outside on the patio, but we had a fantastic time nonetheless. As Americans, we were excited that we could order our own personal pots of coffee. This was the perfect spot for a fun family brunch.
Homeslice. If you know me at all, you know I can’t go that long without pizza. I heard a lot of people talking about Homeslice, and I knew we had to try it. They have some pretty interesting flavors, and you can split the pizza in half with two different flavors. It was very tasty.
Dalloway Terrace. This cute little restaurant tucked inside the Bloomsbury Hotel was just the right thing we needed on a Sunday morning. They have amazing fresh juices and coffee, and some awesome food to keep you fueled throughout the day. The avocado toast was fantastic.
The Hillgate Pub. I knew the one thing I had to do in London was to have a proper British sunday roast at a pub. I was not disappointed. Yorkshire pudding is one of my favorite things, so I was so excited to be reunited. We grabbed some brews and ordered our roast and had the perfect meal.
Farmacy. I was so excited to get to try Farmacy. We were going to afternoon tea later this day so I didn’t get to try as many things as I would have liked, but it was amazing. They specialize in plant based dishes that are super tasty. I had the buckwheat pancakes and they were seriously so good.
Nandos. There was no way that we could come to the UK without a stop at Nandos. This was one of the only places I ate at when I lived in London, and it is awesome. My go to order is a lemon & herb veggie burger with creamy mash. Seriously it’s a must.
Brown & Rosie. Our last food stop in London was Brown & Rosie, which reminded us a lot of Bluestone Lane. It’s a fun little cafe in South Kensington with awesome coffee and pastries as well as some lighter hot dishes. It’s definitely worth a stop if you are in a neighborhood.
We seriously had such a great time at every place that we ate. Not a bad meal in sight. Where are your favorite places to eat in London? Leave us a comment down below and let us know. You can also watch our Travel Vlog down below to see what we got up to, and don’t forget to read our travel diary!
