For the past week I have been in Dallas spending time with the parental units, so I thought I would share a little bit of what we got up to.
When mom picked me up from the airport we headed straight to Waco to see my cousin play in her volleyball game. She did such a great job! Then we spent the night at my grandparents house and headed to Magnolia Market the next day. I was so excited to get to try the cupcakes from the bakery. I can honestly say that they are some of the best cupcakes that I have ever had.
Mom and I then headed over to Dichotomy coffee in downtown Waco. It serves as a coffee shop during the day, and a bar at night. How cool is that concept? We got the 1885, which is espresso mixed with Dr. Pepper. We loved it so much. This might be our new go to coffee shop.
Once we were back in Dallas, we headed to Arlington to go to a Rangers game. I love baseball, so we always try to fit in a game if we can. They won, and scored several home runs, so overall it was a great night!
Over the weekend I attended one of my dear friends wedding at the Dallas Arboretum. She looked absolutely beautiful, and I’m so glad that I got to be a part of her special day.
I had a fantastic time in Dallas, but I can’t wait to get back to the beginnings of fall in New York! I may have overloaded on the fall decorations this year, but I can’t help it! Can we also talk about the fact that pumpkin spice lattes come back this week?! CAN’T FREAKING WAIT!
What did y’all get up to over the week? Let us know in the comments below!
