One of my favorite things to make for breakfast when fall hits are these apple cinnamon crescent rolls. They are super easy to make and so delicious! It’s like a way easier, but just as yummy, version of apple pie.
Ingredients:
Apples
Tube of crescent roll dough
Cinnamon
Sugar
Butter
Peel your apples and chop into small pieces. Throw the apples into a bowl and coat in cinnamon and sugar. I used brown sugar, but white sugar works too. I don’t measure, but just eyeball to taste. I probably used about 2 tbs of sugar and 1 tbs of cinnamon per one apple.
Open the tube of crescent roll dough and lay out on a flat surface. Spoon apple pieces onto the dough, roll up, and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spoon (or brush) melted butter onto the top of each roll
and then sprinkle the top of each roll with additional cinnamon and sugar and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm.
These pillow soft rolls make the perfect breakfast on a chilly Saturday morning. Give them a try and let us know what you think!
Enjoy!
