Get Ready With Me
While working from home has it perks, you definitely lose that accountability to get yourself ready every day. Why put on a full face of makeup when then only people who I’m going to see are the UPS guy and the dog? So over the years I’ve perfected a minimalistic routine for days that I’m not leaving the house, but still want to feel pulled together. I can do this entire skincare, makeup, and hair routine in less than 30 minutes.
Skincare
I really enjoy the ritual of my morning skincare routine. It helps me wake up physically but also helps to wake up my mind. The first thing I do is spritz on some of this water spray. This step does wonders in helping me feel more awake. I look forward to slathering on this truth serum every morning. Not only does it feel amazing on the skin, but I love the fresh citrus scent. I moisturize with this coconut rose cream which also smells divine but I love the formula. It feels think and hydrating but sinks into the skin quickly making it a great primer for your makeup.

There are three quick things I do to pull myself together for my normal daily makeup. I recent discovered this tinted gel cream and I love how dewey and glowey it makes my skin look while covering up some of my natural redness. I have blonde eyelashes, so the one makeup step I never skip is mascara. Right now I’m really loving this one. My eyebrows are not something I’m terribly fussy about. I honestly haven’t waxed or tweezed them in years. But I tame them a bit with Glossier’s boy brow. I use the blonde shade. All of Glossier’s products are great, but this one is hands down my favorite. If you want to try it for yourself, click here to shop with us and receive 20% off your first order and free shipping!
Hair
I’ve had a lot of fun styling my hair since I cut it shorter last fall. I’ve worn my hair a lot of different ways over the years, but right now I’m loving a soft wave. Not super curly, just a little bend. I use this curling iron, and my trick is that I curl each section in opposite directions. I really like Kristin Ess’ hair products. They do as good a job, or better, than pricier products. I use two products specifically every day. After curling my hair I use this at my roots to create some volume and then I follow with this from mid-shaft to my ends. She just launched some new products I’m anxious to get my hands on! Specifically this purple shampoo, this rose gold tint, and this air dry spray.
