Hey y’all! Sorry for the unexpected break. If you haven’t heard by now, we had a death in the family and took some time off to travel back to Texas to spend time with our family. But we’re back to our regular posting schedule this week, starting with today’s delicious post- the best sweet treats in London!
We already shared where to eat in London, but those spots were more on the savory side, and if you have a sweet tooth like us you’ll want to make a visit to these spots a priority!
This sweet spot is the perfect place to pop in to grab an afternoon pick me up. There are so many yummy options, but we opted for a couple of cupcakes to share and some lattes.
This is a newer spot to London, which you’ve likely seen it all over Instagram. It’s an ice cream cone, covered in cotton candy, and topped with a variety of toppings of your choice. How cool is that?! Be prepared to stand in line though, as this is a very popular spot right now.
We’ve talked about our love for Ben’s Cookies before, and of course we had to pop into one of their many locations to grab a few for an airplane snack on the way home!
While technically this isn’t a destination solely for sweet treats, the desserts at afternoon tea at sketch are some of the best we’ve ever encountered on a tea spread (although The Plaza has some pretty great ones too!).
As soon as she realized we’d be in London on my birthday, Shelby starting talking about how she was going to order me the unicorn birthday cake from Crumbs and Doilies. It was delicious! We enjoyed having a slice for a midnight snack almost every night in our hotel room during our trip. They have some very interesting cupcake flavors on offer I’d love to try next time!
This is the BEST soft serve ice cream I’ve ever had. It tastes like birthday cake. It seems no one actually knows where the name “99” came from, but this delicious treat can be found in ice cream trucks all around the city. Each cone is topped with a Cadbury flake.
In case you missed it, be sure to check out our London travel diary to see everything we got up too.

This post is right up my alley! I LOVE sweets and London is the #1 place on my list I want to travel to. Peggy Porschen cakes is one of the top places I want to visit while there, the outside is just so beautiful! Pinning this for the day I get to go to London!
