Yesterday we gave you our general fall to do list, which by the way I am SO excited about. Give me apple picking, doughnuts, apple cider, cold air and I’m in heaven. Ashley and I are so fortunate that we live in New York, and have the ability to do so many fun things, so we are going to share with you all of the fun things you can do in the fall in NYC.
Have a photo shoot in Central Park
One of the easiest things you can do to get in the Fall spirit is to have a photo shoot in Central Park. The view is beautiful, and better yet it’s completely free!
Cider Week takes place at many different venues from November 6-15. They are striving to increase the presence of hard cider in restaurants and bars across the city. Click here to see where you can check out the best cider.
Head on over to Tompkins Square Park to see all of the adorable dogs dressed up for Halloween. This year the parade is taking place on October 25th from 12:00-3:00 P.M.
The Haunted Pumpkin Garden/ Giant Pumpkin Carving Weekend
Located at the New York Botanical Garden, check out hundreds of pumpkins set up in a spooky way. There are tons of activities for the kids as well. If you want to see the giant pumpkin carving event, plan your trip for October 25-26.
The Great Jack O’ Lantern Blaze
If you are willing to take a train 45 minutes out of the city, then this is the place for you. See over 7,000 jack o’ lanterns on display. This is the perfect outing for all ages, but hurry and buy your tickets. They go quick.
If you are plant lovers like us, you will love to see all of the Fall foliage at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. They haven’t given us any updates yet, but check back here to see when they start to bloom.
We are so excited to explore and do all of these fun and fantastic fall things! Let us know if you get up to any.
