Getting Healthy in 2016

getting healthy in 2016

Happy hump day! We’ve made it to Wednesday. It’s almost the weekend!

We had a very productive weekend back in the city last weekend cleaning and getting organized for 2016. We like to spend our weekend mornings snuggled up in bed with a cup of coffee and planning what we want to accomplish. We sat down over the holidays and made a list of all of our goals for 2016, and guys, we are SO excited for some of the things we have planned and we CAN’T WAIT to share them with you!

In our planning though, we quickly realized that in order to keep up with our demanding to do list, we would need to build up stamina. After a month of eating lots of cookies, we were overdue for a trip to the gym. Living in a walkable city like New York, we already lead fairly active lifestyles. And apart from the holidays, we generally eat extremely healthy. As soon as we got back to New York, we joined our local gym, and have been very diligent about going.

Since we both work from home, it’s super easy for us to head to a quick yoga or Pilates class on our lunch break. Our gym necessities are our bobble water bottles, headphones to listen to an energizing work out playlist, our Nike’s, and Squelch. Have you heard of Squelch? It’s our little secret product. Squelch is a natural, scentless, odor remover. Spray it on your hair, your body, and your clothes after a workout and you feel SO refreshed.

The best part about Squelch is that it’s a compact size perfect to throw in your bag for on the go use. You can even spray it in your shoes to get rid of that gross sweaty foot odor.

Excuse the gross, no make up, gym selfie, but we need to ask- what are your go to athletic apparel brands? We need to spice up our gym wardrobe. And while we’re at it, what songs are on your work out playlists?
