There is so much going on in the world right now, and to cope with stress I bake. It’s great timing, because we just released The Sweet Laurel Cookbook on The Sister Market! I think we have owned this book since the day it came out. We bake from it all the time. Over the weekend I made the grain free chocolate chip cookies, and it’s seriously the easiest best recipe for a healthy version of a cookie! You only need 6 ingredients!
Ingredients:
2 cups almond flour
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips
Just mix everything together in one bowl and form into cookies. I also like to top them with some sea salt. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes.

Eggs are in some recipes but there are so many egg replacers. I personally like to use flaxseed meal for extra health benefits. I love the Everything tahini bread, almond flour pancakes, chocolate cake & scones! Well really I like every single thing in the book! It’s truly genius and I don’t bake from anything else. If you watched our Christmas Cookie Showdown, the recipe we used for the cookies was from this book as well! Trust me, you need it in your life!
