If you live in NYC and have never heard of Momofuku Milk Bar, where have you been? If you have heard of it and haven’t been, shame on you! This is the perfect place to pick up a cool treat, especially on those hot spring and summer days.
Momofuku Milk Bar is the bakery chain descending from Momofuku restaurants. There are 6 locations in New York City, and one in Toronto. The menu varies slightly per location, so make sure you check online here to make sure you are going to get what you want.
Milk Bar is known for their “Cereal Milk” which tastes just like it sounds. They steep cornflakes in milk to to get the cereal milk taste. You can buy the milk by itself, or you can get it in a soft serve version which I highly recommend. You can get it with “crunch” on top which is cornflakes, or topped with “fudge”.
We have also tried the birthday cake truffles, the compost cookie, and the confetti cookie. The birthday cake truffles are something you need in your life right now. If you aren’t in NYC you can order them here. We also suggest getting a slice of their crack pie.
Ashley and I love anything with sprinkles, so the confetti cookie was a given. The compost cookie is also something that we love, but definitely the birthday truffles are our favorite.
