Mom’s Spiced Tea Recipe

The Perfect Autumn Drink

Mom's Spiced Tea Recipe

Growing up I have so many fond memories of summer turning into autumn and the leaves changing colors. As soon as that happened my mom would make a steaming mug of her spiced tea. I was never interested in it until I moved to college. I honestly had no idea what she was drinking, I just knew that it smelled good. Fast forward to know and I can’t get enough of it. So much so that she made Ashley and I huge batches of it because we would go through it so fast.

Let’s be clear here, this “tea” is in no way healthy! It’s full of sugar, but that’s all part of the fun. There is some vitamin C, so you can call it healthy that way if you want. We talked about this over in our vlog from last weekend, so we thought we would share the recipe for y’all on here so you can make it for yourself.

Each time you want to make a cup just boil a cup of water and add two teaspoons of the spiced tea mixture. This is such a fall staple in our household. It’s perfect for a cozy fall afternoon, or even to soothe a sore throat. Go out right now and make yourself a batch! You won’t regret it!
