My New Favorite Mascara
Hey Y’all! Happy Wednesday! We haven’t had a makeup chat on here in awhile, so I thought I would pop in and tell you all about the mascara that I have been loving now for the past three months! I’m actually kind of picky about mascara’s but in a weird way. Mascara is one of the only drugstore products I really swear by. Particularly Maybelline. They do THE best drugstore mascara, so if I’m trying to save some money that’s what I go for.
Recently I’ve only been reaching for the new Glossier Lash Slick mascara, and it has honestly changed my life. After having my eye surgery 3 months ago I was so excited to be able to show off my makeup without glasses hiding it. To me it is the best of both of the Benefit mascara’s in one! The brush is more like the roller lash, but the formula is more like They’re Real. It’s so hard to explain, but to me it really is a combo of both of those mascara’s! Here is how they describe it on their website:

And it’s water-resistant (not waterproof), so Lash Slick washes off easy with warm water at the end of your day.”
Just like all of Glossier’s products, the mascara is very buildable. You can do one quick swipe, or build it up to a complete night out look! It’s crazy to me how much it can build without feeling cakey, or start to flake off. My lashes are fairly long, but they will not hold a curl, at least I thought. I have always tried everything, but until Lash Slick they wouldn’t stay curled. My lashes are so thick and straight they still don’t hold a huge curl, but this is the only mascara that has ever been able to hold a slight curl, so that’s saying something! It gives an amazing natural but still put together look.
