Happy Spring everyone! Can you believe we are almost at the end of March already!? 2016 is just flying by. We are so excited for everything this year is going to bring, including our trip to Iceland in just 4 short weeks. We have mentally prepared our suitcases, and have fully prepared our itinerary. Now all we do is wait, and pass the time with some Sunday strolls.
We were hoping to have a beautiful first week of spring weekend, but we were hit with 30 degree weather and snow. Not so springy is it? We decided to venture out anyway and have brunch at Bluestone Lane. The location on the Upper East Side is located inside of a church. One time when we visited Cambridge, England we ate lunch at a restaurant in a church and it was one of our favorite experiences ever. This one didn’t disappoint. The Australian style food was absolutely phenomenal.
After our lunch we grabbed some coffee to go and decided to go on a stroll around the Jackie Kennedy reservoir in Central Park. It was chilly, but the perfect way to spend a laid back Sunday. There is nothing better than an almond latte and fresh central park air.
