The dreaded swimsuit shopping. Let’s be honest, unless you look like Gigi Hadid, it’s not any fun at all. I haven’t purchased a new swimsuit in several years. I can’t even recall the last time I actually went swimming. However, this year I don’t have much of an option. As you guys know, we are heading to Iceland next month. Now you’re probably thinking- why the heck do you need a swimsuit for ICEland? And yes, Iceland is not exactly a tropical destination, but there are many thermal swimming pools, most famously the Blue Lagoon, which will require a swimsuit. This summer we are doing a family vacation to celebrate my birthday (the big 3-0) and we’re heading to Turks and Caicos! And while that’s very exciting, another destination that requires swimsuits. So now that it’s March (even though it’s snowing outside this morning) I’ve been searching the internet for swimsuit options that don’t make me want to gag.
Here’s what I’ve found so far. What do you think? I’m a fan of getting a bunch of different tops and bottoms that can mix and match. I’ve never been a big fan of one pieces, but that floral print Kate Spade suit is pretty cute. And I love this cover up so much!
