Because Happiness Is A Choice…and Birthday Cake
Hey y’all! Happy Wednesday! I started this series of posts last month and everyone seemed to really love it, so I’m back again with number two! There is so many bad things and hate happening around the world at the moment, so I like doing my part to bring a little happiness into the world. I would LOVE for y’all to join in and tell me what makes you smile, or even post it on your own social media so all of your friends can see! The more we spread happiness the better! My birthday was over the weekend, and we are still eating the last bits of cake! It makes me happy every time I take a bite!

In our apartment we have a very body positive attitude, and we are very conscious of the words that we use and the conversations we have. Having this positive attitude has been very beneficial for all of us. I love oversized clothing, but sometimes it can make you feel like you are bigger than you are. I have thrown all of that out the window. I’m going to wear what I want, and who cares what other people think. If I’m confident that’s all that matters!

I have been absolutely loving minimalist interiors lately. Every time I walk into my room, or basically anywhere in our apartment I can’t help but smile. Ashley talked a little bit about this over here, but I truly believe that if your living space makes you smile than you can conquer the world!
I started working out back in January of 2016 to help me cope with my anxiety. I never knew how beneficial it could be for me. I always dreaded working out and I didn’t see the point until I really got serious about it. Now I look forward to going to the gym and working up a sweat. I feel SO good afterwards and that truly makes me smile. I challenge you to try a new workout that you have never done before. Who knows, you might fall in love!
Over the past few weeks many women have come out saying #metoo. I am so in awe of how we have come together as a society and are rooting for women. I am a huge supporter of equal rights, raising awareness, and creating change. Even though the circumstances are downright shitty right now, seeing everyone come together has put a smile on my face. I am also obsessed with all things #girlboss. A few women like Sophia Bush, Demi Lovato, and Tanya Burr are huge inspirations for me. Give them a follow. They are doing amazing things to make this world a better place!
Hope y’all have a great rest of the week! Don’t forget to leave a comment down below and let me know what has been making you smile lately!
