Because Happiness Is A Choice
Hey Y’all! Happy Monday! I’ve done several of these posts before, and you all really like them. I have made a huge effort over the last couple years to turn my perspective around, and be happier and more grateful for everything that is surrounding me. I truly believe that you can turn your day around just by having a different perspective. I use these posts as a way to put everything down in writing that has been making me smile so that it is out in the universe. I encourage you to do the same because it has done wonders for me.
This past month Ash and I have started exploring NYC more. We have lived here for almost 7 years, but because of my anxiety over the past few years we stuck to our daily routines and didn’t really try new things. We have been taking every opportunity lately to go out and explore the city and it has been so much fun! NYC has so many amazing and fun things to offer, and it makes me so happy that we are taking advantage of that now!

We have one every month, and I plan them out a few months in advance. Traveling is one of my favorite things in the world, so getting excited about seeing these new places is so much fun! I wish I could tell you them all right now, but we like announcing them little by little! Trust me though, we are going to some amazing places this year! We have also already started talking about next year. Some people hate the planning process, but for me it’s all part of the fun!
Over the past few months I have really focused on working out and toning my body. What I’m happy about though is that it is solely for me and not for anyone else. I never step on a scale. I couldn’t even begin to tell you what that number would be because I haven’t weighed myself in years. I just want to stay healthy and continue being confident in myself. I always feel so much better after I workout, and it truly has helped with my anxiety.
