Comfort Is Key
These days I feel like I practically live on a plane. As much as I love it, it’s so exhausting. One thing that really helps me get through is the clothes I decide to wear. I used to be that person that “dressed up” for a flight. I remember flying back to Texas one time my freshman year of college I legit wore a button down blouse, skirt, and heeled boots. You can laugh, I’m laughing at myself. I don’t even understand how I thought that was a comfortable thing to do. If you see me on a plane now you are lucky if I have my hair done.
We tend to book our flights during times that we don’t really have to be dressed or have our makeup or hair done. If we are flying to Europe its almost always overnight, so It’s always something super comfortable with no makeup on. When we fly back to Texas it is usually in the evening after work and we land at about 11 P.M. so we don’t dress up then either. I’m a huge believer in being comfortable on planes. There are already so many factors with flying that can make you uncomfortable, and your clothes shouldn’t be one of them.

I usually wear a combination of leggings, sweaters, baggy tees, and tennis shoes to fly but I picked up these joggers from the Nordstrom Sale a few months ago and I can’t get enough of them. They are loose and comfortable, but I still feel put together when I am wearing them. I also love the huge pockets.
I also picked up this new pair of nikes that I have been completely in love with. I like to have a black pair for when I’m traveling because to me it goes with everything! These are so comfortable and I different shape than I have ever had. I highly recommend them.
We almost always carry on our suitcases, so we have to make sure our outfit is comfortable because we are carrying our bags with us at all times. Don’t worry though, we usually have a quick change at the airport if we have a full day of exploring ahead of us after we land.
