Hey y’all! If you’re in the States, happy Labor Day weekend! We are heading up to The Berkshires tomorrow for a long relaxing weekend. We’ve never been, so if you have any recommendations please let us know! We have been spoiled silly with great weather here in New York this week. On Tuesday it didn’t even leave the 60s! We are definitely starting to feel all of the fall vibes. Fall in New York is by far our favorite time to be in the city, but this summer/fall transitional period can be tricky to dress for. The mornings tend to be cooler followed by balmy afternoons. This dress is the perfect solution to help you fade into fall.
It covers enough skin that you are not chilled but leaves enough exposed that you don’t overheat. Like it or not, the off the shoulder trend is here to stay for fall, and can be transitioned with warmer tones and textures.
I love the idea of wearing a dress like this to a college football tailgate. I paired it with booties here, but it would be super cute with cowboy boots too. These Madewell booties are AMAZING! Such good quality and super comfy.
What are you most looking forward to as you fade into fall? I’m excited for college football to start! Baylor (my alma mater) plays their first game this weekend. Sic’em Bears! Hey Tory Burch, can you make this dress in forest green so I can wear it to a Baylor game this fall?? 🙂

P.S. In case you missed it, Shelby shared the items she has her eye on for fall earlier this week. I picked up this cardigan during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I love it! I also have my eye on this hat and these shoes.
