A couple weeks ago we told you the top 5 things to do in NYC during the holidays. Today we are talking about our second favorite city, London. Last year I went to London with Allix right before Christmas and it was such a magical trip. We got up to so many festive and fabulous things. So put on Love Actually, grab some almond hot chocolate, and imagine a Christmas in London with the Brits.
- Visit Covent Garden to see the tree and decorations. Have a quick drink at the Punch & Judy pub, then take a quick tube journey out to Kew Gardens for a magical light display.
- Get all of your Christmas shopping done on Oxford street and take in the beauty of the festive lights. Then head on over to Kensington High Street to have pancakes at My Old Dutch. Finish off your day with a trip to the Museum of Natural History.
- Take a stroll through Hyde Park and visit Winter Wonderland which is full of ice skating, an ice bar, and plenty of food and games for the kids.
- Head over to the Southbank to see the London Eye lit up as well as a mini German Christmas market full of mulled wine and fresh doughnuts.
- Go on a day trip to Oxford University. Stroll around taking in the architecture and amazing decorations the University and city has to offer.
Have any of you ever been to London during the Holidays? Let us know what your favorite part was! Also, remember to keep taking us on Instagram & Twitter with #ATBChristmas so we can see all of the fun you are getting up to this holiday season.
