Winter Skincare Routine

Zap That Dull And Dry Winter Skin!

Winter Skincare Routine

I shared my nightly skincare routine several months ago, but since I’ve changed things up a little for winter, I thought I would share my daily winter skincare routine for both morning and night!

Morning:

Avenue Thermal Spring Water – The first thing I do every morning is a spritz of this on my face. If your skin is hypersensitive or quick to become irritated, tight and uncomfortable, then Avene’s Thermal Spring Water Spray is an essential addition to your beauty routine.

Origins Ginzing Eye Cream – This refreshing eye cream helps to brighten and de-puff. While I do like to change up my skincare products, this is the one product I have consistently used for many years.

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum – As I mentioned in our beauty gift guide, I seriously wake up looking forward to put this on my face every morning! It’s a powerful anti-aging serum formulated with vitamin C and collagen for brightening and all-day hydration.

Kopari Coconut Face Cream – This lightweight lotion is formulated with a fusion of high-performing ingredients to hydrate and soften skin. Rich in high concentrations of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, Coconut Face Cream is the perfect final step to seal in moisture and leave skin healthy-looking and glowing before you get going.

Night:

Sunday Riley Good Genes – This high potency, purified-grade lactic acid treatment exfoliates dead skin cells, plumps fine lines, evens out hyperpigmentation, and boosts your skin’s glow factor all in one pump. It’s perfect for this time of year to help slough off dead skin cells.

Biossance Eye Gel – I first heard of this eye cream earlier this year when I read this article. I soon got my hands on it, and have been using it ever since. I actually just ran out, so hopefully Santa brings me some more for Christmas!

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Oil – I’d heard great things about this oil before I was gifted my first bottle last Christmas. I tend to rotate between several different oils as a part of my skincare routine, but this one has been a steady favorite this winter.

Welda Skin Food – I decided to give this product a try after seeing several articles comparing it to La Mer. Fancy face cream for waaaay less money? Sign me up for that! This ultra rich hydrating cream is great for dry skin. It’s not specifically meant for the face (the label suggests applying it to traditionally dry spots such as elbows, knees, or the bottom of your feet) but I’ve found it to be a nice thick moisturizer if my face is feeling particularly dry. Sometimes I’ll thin it out a little my mixing it with this moisturizer

Laneige Water Sleep Mask – I use this about every other day during the winter. It’s super hydrating and perfect for treating that dry winter skin while you sleep!
